Bloomington Public Health is proud to offer free Hands-Only CPR and AED training within the cities of Bloomington, Edina and Richfield. The course covers the basic hands-only techniques for chest compressions for adults, children and infants, as well as an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) demonstration. 

Who is this course for? 
  • Participants must be 13 years of age or older. 
  • This course is intended for the general public rather than medical professionals. This course is NOT eligible for CPR certification or continuing education credits (CEC).
  • Consider attending if you belong to one of the following groups; this is not an exhaustive list: 
    • Parents, grandparents and other caregivers
    • Babysitters
    • Scout troops
    • Business owners
    • Anyone new to CPR 
    • Anyone wanting to learn basic lifesaving techniques

  • Hands-only adult, child, infant CPR
  • AED demonstration
  • Obstructed airway & choking
  • Course is FREE (no-cost).
  • The course is currently offered in English.
