Bloomington city code requires all solicitors to carry a City-issued license and identification card when soliciting door to door.

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for issuing many of the licenses used within Bloomington, including those issued by the Motor Vehicle Section. The division maintains and manages all records for the City of Bloomington, the City Cemetery and elections.
